Thanks Javi! I've been waiting for a dataset like this for a long time. I've posted about this many times; my subjective impression was that the daily userbase, fluctuating between the 1000-2000 extremes seen on Lensscan, might only be 10% real users. Even so, it is shocking to see that I was right and across so many apps, fewer than 150 people total are using Lens daily. Of course, there could be new users who haven't reached the 5000 score yet, but based on the daily new accounts (and on the fact that they're practically invisible to us and leave after a post) the chance of that is small. Brutal.
Farcaster is over. Base app is over. It's time for Lens to show up, or we're going to get buried with them. Lens's X account (with 500k followers!!!) has had 0 posts since the acquisition announcement, which purely suggests to the outside world that it's over. This should be changed. We can be the last living flagship of web3 socials...
